The Clubhouse: Art Direction

This project had Eliot effectively manage the creative input for a new student apartment block. The London-based client wanted to fill his apartments with beautiful art based on the Plymouth area, as well as an informative website for his tenants. Eliot was in charge of gathering suitable artwork from students in the college, himself and some others took part in Plymouth-based design briefs. Managing the deadlines and timescales for the artwork provided great experience for Eliot, as there lots of problems that occurred throughout the various stages. Eliot and another designer also met regularly with the client to hear out the concepts he had for a website. They created a website that used a CMS, so the client could manage content for years to come without the involvement of a designer. All of this was achieved alongside Eliot’s final degree project. Auspect: Respect for autism

Auspect is the brand created by Eliot Sleep to raise awareness of autism. His aim was to inform people on the growing number of people affected by the disorder, as well as teaching them about autistic people. “During the final year of Eliot’s degree, he was asked to manage a project that would run until the end of his studies. Eliot created Auspect, which was the company that was going to be responsible for raising awareness for children with autism.”
