The Clubhouse: Art Direction

This project had Eliot effectively manage the creative input for a new student apartment block. The London-based client wanted to fill his apartments with beautiful art based on the Plymouth area, as well as an informative website for his tenants. Eliot was in charge of gathering suitable artwork from students in the college, himself and some others took part in Plymouth-based design briefs. Managing the deadlines and timescales for the artwork provided great experience for Eliot, as there lots of problems that occurred throughout the various stages. Eliot and another designer also met regularly with the client to hear out the concepts he had for a website. They created a website that used a CMS, so the client could manage content for years to come without the involvement of a designer. All of this was achieved alongside Eliot’s final degree project. BMW Vintage Poster

This was a degree project that encouraged students to celebrate a modern product using vintage elements. Eliot’s chose to focus on typography in order to achieve a contemporary poster design. The chosen product for this project was the M-series BMW.

Your Place or Mine: Branding

This project had Eliot leading the branding concepts for an upcoming Creative Retail Website. Direction was provided to the client – who also is a graphic designer – to provide fresh ideas for a shop that would aim to sell undergraduate work. The branding package contained business cards, letterheads and other editorial elements. The project is still undergoing final development but the main concept has been confirmed by the client. The business card designs celebrated some of the best work available from the store.
