C Love Buy

C Love Buy were aiming to be an online retailer that brought local fashion designers to the UAE. They approached me with some ideas about a branding project and showed me how passionate they were about their dream. “The site will cater to mid to high-end brands and will meet the clothing and accessory need of men, women and children. It will be modern, trendy, hip, cool, and sophisticated. This was my first successful branding project in Dubai. After finding the team a solution we worked together on creating editorial designs and an identity package for the brand.

Pixi-holic

Branding opportunity for a client hoping to start a photo printing business in Dubai. “The name combines pixels (pixi) and holic from addiction. The business activity will be printing your pictures on high quality canvas.” After a few unflattering changes to this design and providing other concepts with more “fun”, myself and the client decided not to finalise a solution together. Shit happens I guess. I envisioned a clean and modest logo for the brand, so the client would be able to stand out from the OTT competition here in the Middle East.

Cards on fleek

Business card designs for ESDesign (V2). Can’t beat the clean and simple look for business card designs. Unfortunately I didn’t have the ideal budget for these cards; it would’ve been nice to get them letterpressed etc. Next time. #minimal #createexploretakeover

Summer Show 2014

Eliot was fortunate enough to have his design concept chosen to represent Plymouth College of Art’s Summer Show this year. The project had Eliot working with a London-based design studio, YCN Studios to finalise his designs. The graphical concept was then used across all platforms of the show, including advertisements, signage and web elements. This project was a great addition to Eliot’s portfolio and seeing his work on such a large scale made him even more passionate about his future as a graphic designer. Eliot felt that the concept was simple and approachable, therefore encouraging a varied audience to visit the show. This project gave him an insight into how professional agencies like YCN Studios deal with timescales and design finalisation.
